Information Vemro Collects
Vemro stores account identifiers from ChatGPT sign-in, email address, display name, username, profile bio, profile image metadata, terms acceptance, forum activity, product reviews, saved products, lists, follows, community joins, reports, moderator applications, recent product searches, calorie goals, food logs, daily calorie-tracking credit usage, subscription identifiers, and audit records for staff actions.
Product Searches
When users search for products, Vemro may store the query, category, timestamp, result count, and best matched cached product. Signed-in recent searches can be cleared from account settings.
Profile Pictures
Uploaded profile pictures are stored in Vemro object storage. The database stores the object key, content type, and update timestamp so the image can be served back through Vemro.
Third-Party Product APIs
Product queries may be sent to structured product data providers such as Open Food Facts and Open Beauty Facts. Those services receive the query or barcode needed to return product information.
Calorie Tracking
Calorie goals and food logs are private to the signed-in account unless Vemro later ships an explicit sharing control. Provider-sourced nutrition entries keep the linked product source, while manual entries are stored as user-entered values.
Payments
Vemro uses Stripe to process Vemro Plus subscriptions. Vemro stores Stripe customer, checkout, subscription, product, price, payment status, and entitlement identifiers, but card details are handled by Stripe.
Cookies and Sessions
Authentication is handled through the Sites ChatGPT sign-in flow. Vemro reads forwarded authenticated-user headers on the server when a signed-in feature needs identity.
Why Data Is Stored
Data is stored to operate profiles, community features, moderation, saved products, product history, cached product analysis, search suggestions, and security controls.
Account Deletion
Users can submit an account deletion request from account settings. Staff can review and process these requests through moderation workflows.
